ITC would like to introduce Avaya Contact Store. Contact store is a voice recording application that integrates directly into the Avaya IP Office platform. Contact Store uses an SQL database to store voice recordings from your phone system. Voice recordings can be created from a specific incoming caller ID, a specific user, a group of users or system wide. The recordings are searchable through an internal website and can be searched by user, caller, group, or a date/time period.

Voicemail to E-mail

ITC would like to introduce Voicemail to E-mail integration. ITC offers two types of Voicemail to E-mail integration. There is the Basic integration that simply connects to an SMTP mail server. Basic integration stores your voicemails as .WAV files and composes them into an e-mail and sends that e-mail message to you through your company’s SMTP server. The voicemail will remain on your phone and will also be accessible to your e-mail and any devices attached to your e-mail i.e. blackberry.

The second type of integration is Full Integration. Full Voicemail to E-mail integration simply adds to the basic integration. Full integration connects via MAPI to a Microsoft Exchange Server. When full integration is used a voicemail that is deleted in the e-mail box will also be deleted on the user’s voicemail box as well. This keeps the user from having to delete the message in both places. Voicemail to E-mail integration is just another way that ITC and Avaya are able to add to the mobility and productivity of your business.

3rd Largest Law Firm in Iowa

The 3rd largest law firm in Iowa was due for a new phone system & voicemail. Their current Tadiran phone system and voicemail was about 17 years old and as a result they were experiencing intermittent failures such as calls dropping, burst of static over the phones, unreliable voicemail access, service response & reliability issues, and regular system reboots. Business Problem:

Assembled Products, Inc. had a recurring issue with their 15 year old, refurbished phone system, that was causing them significant headaches and having a negative impact on their overall business. To make matters worse they had 4 other tenants in the shared office space using the same problematic phone system. After working with the local phone company, Qwest they called ITC Communications, Inc. in to take a look at the problem and come up with solution.

Solution:

Per the request of Matt Ulrich, our main contact at API we dispatched a technician to test the phone system equipment and diagnose the root cause of the phone system problems. The technician found that their Merlin Legend phone system was antiquated and key modules in the system were in disrepair and needed to be replaced. We met with Matt to discuss the equipment failure issues and options. Our recommendation based on the age of their current Merlin Legend, required investment in replacement equipment, and business need for relability, was to make an investment in a new Avaya IP Office phone system with embedded Voicemail. Matt agreed with our recommendation. ITC then installed the new system and voicemail to support 5 companies on the same phone system. Today, the API and the other 4 companies reaping the benefits. No system outages, auto-attendants, remote access, self-managment, easy-to-use, and cost effective. During a meeting with the owner, Tom Coates and his management staff, ITC Communications conducted a thorough business technology communication analysis to uncover opportunities for improvements. We found that their Siemen’s phone system was not well suited for their Call Center environment. It lacked basic call center queuing, announcements, call routing, call and agent reporting. Karl Chevrolet had a long-term relationship with AT&T as its long-distance provider but monthly long distance costs were skyrocketing. Management was very concerned and wanted to know their options.  They were seriously concerned about switching providers due to the potential negative impact to their business which relies heavily on phone use.

Solution:

Karl Chevrolet is a long-term customer of ITC Communications on their Avaya PBX phone system, Our main contact requested that we analyze their monthly phone bills and provide recommendations on changes that would save money without giving up any service or reliability. After our analysis of their phone bills we made recommendations on both their PRI T-1 and Long Distance T-1 services. Management reviewed and approved the recommendations and we implemented the changes the phone services and phone system. The resulting ongoing monthly savings is approximately $4,500.00 or about $54,000.00 yearly. The total savings to date are approximately $162,000.00.
